Alone in a vast expanse where sea and sky blur into one endless horizon, a solitary dhow drifts gracefully across the Gulf of Guinea, along the southern coast of Ghana, Africa. Its patchwork sail, stitched from fabric remnants, catches the wind and carries it forward, a fragile yet resilient vessel navigating the timeless rhythm of the ocean. Here, the world feels simultaneously immense and intimate, and the dhow, small against the boundless backdrop, becomes a quiet symbol of human ingenuity, endurance, and the intimate connection between people and the sea. In this space, time seems suspended, inviting the viewer to contemplate the beauty, isolation, and poetry of life on the water.
